Sorry i have been away for a while so here is just a short status update for anyone who is interested.
The new novel "feathers"; continues apace, though it has now had so many branchings and turnings, so few roots become so many branches it seems; that it barely resembles the original for which there was a preview contained at the end of "cornelius"
Personally i find it a better novel now and close to complete barring some re-writes, so it should "hit the shelves soon".
I did get very caught up in the characterisation of two of the principles (something very unlike me who tends to keep his protagonists rather vauge) and therefore as a now completely seperate tale and only available for download there will be a novella released very shortly called "the massace of Argyll" I am hoping it will be free to download and you should be able to get it from both my website; www.raymondwalker.yolasite.com and from; www.lulu.com in a month or so.
The second volume of "A River of Tears" is nearly finished, though again the novella that was to be the concluding story has since been removed. I Felt that the first volume, though i really enjoyed both the writing of it and the reading of the stories, i thought it was let down by the last; "Ghosts" and therefore i decided that was definitely not going to be the case this time and so i concieved an epic last story of love and loss that i thought would leave the readers begging for more.
It seems i was correct for that novella has now become a novel; still named "a new river story" it has been accepted for full release and though as yet unfinished it looks as though it will also become a television play (not guaranteed but i have my fingers crossed).
In addition very soon there shall be another book of short stories; mainly horror and fantasy though as usual with me they include more than a touch of romance and hope; i hope you like them.
I will write more soon, however, should anyone wish to ask any questions, or simply wish more information please do not hesitate to mail me at; raytwalker@googlemail.com
Thanks, i will try and keep this updated far more regularly in the future.
